By accessing the website at concretemilford.com, contacting Milford Concrete for services, or entering into a service agreement with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
Milford Concrete provides residential and commercial concrete services, including but not limited to driveway installation, patio construction, foundation work, sidewalk building, garage floor installation, retaining walls, stamped concrete, and related concrete contracting services in Milford, MA and surrounding communities. Service availability, scheduling, and pricing are subject to change at our discretion.
All estimates provided by Milford Concrete are based on information available at the time of assessment, including site conditions, project scope, and material costs. Estimates are provided in writing and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
Estimates are not guaranteed fixed-price contracts unless explicitly stated as such in a signed written agreement. If unforeseen site conditions - such as unsuitable soil, buried debris, or drainage problems not visible during the initial estimate - are discovered during the project, we will notify you promptly and provide a revised estimate before proceeding with additional work.
Verbal estimates are not binding. Only written, signed agreements constitute a commitment to a specific scope and price.
Project start dates are scheduled based on crew availability and weather conditions. Concrete work requires temperatures to remain above freezing during and after the pour - we reserve the right to reschedule any project when weather conditions would compromise the quality of the work.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made with fewer than 48 hours notice of a confirmed start date may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover mobilization costs, as outlined in your written agreement.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance of any schedule changes on our end. Weather delays are not subject to cancellation fees from either party.
Payment terms are outlined in each project agreement. Most projects require a deposit at the time of contract signing, with the balance due upon project completion. Specific deposit amounts and payment schedules will be stated in your written contract.
Payment is accepted by check, bank transfer, or other methods as agreed upon in writing. We reserve the right to charge a late fee on balances not paid within 30 days of the invoice date, at a rate stated in your contract.
Milford Concrete reserves the right to pursue collection of unpaid balances through legal means, including filing a mechanics' lien on the property where services were performed, in accordance with Massachusetts law.
To ensure a safe and efficient project, you agree to:
Milford Concrete is not responsible for damage to unmarked underground utilities or for damage caused by failure to follow post-installation instructions.
Milford Concrete will obtain permits required by the Town of Milford or other local jurisdictions for projects where permits are required, as part of the agreed project scope. Permit fees are the responsibility of the customer and will be itemized in the written estimate. Work performed without required permits at the customer's request is the customer's sole responsibility. We reserve the right to decline work that would violate applicable building codes or regulations.
Milford Concrete warrants that all work will be performed in a workmanlike manner, consistent with industry standards and the specifications in your written agreement. We warrant our workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of project completion.
This warranty covers defects resulting from our workmanship, such as cracking caused by improper base preparation or finishing errors. It does not cover:
Manufacturer warranties for materials used in your project, if any, are passed through to you as the customer.
To the fullest extent permitted by Massachusetts law, Milford Concrete's total liability for any claim arising from services provided shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
Milford Concrete is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, loss of use, or any other economic loss arising from the use of our services or website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
